Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle 3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, black pepper, and garlic base until melted and fragrant.
  4. Slice potatoes thinly using a mandoline and layer them in the baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potato layers and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake covered for 45 minutes; remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown.
