  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups vegetable stock
  • 2½ cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese, plus more for garnish
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Increase heat to medium and add ground turkey or chicken; cook until browned.
