  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, divided)

  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  2. Place each potato between two chopsticks or skewers to prevent cutting all the way through. Slice vertical slits about ⅛ inch apart.
  3. Arrange the sliced potatoes on a baking sheet and brush half of the melted butter over them, ensuring to coat in between the slices.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, then gently pull apart layers using a knife.
